Counselling adds quality to any life experience.
…whether you’re currently feeling down in the dumps or on top of the world and ready to take on something new. Are you looking for deeper meaning in your work or relationships? Trying to create change in your life but feel stuck? Unsure of your next steps? Not even sure where to begin?
It’s ok, sometimes we all need someone to talk to.
Everyone needs a safe space where we can put down our armor and be our true selves. To say how we’re really feeling. Without that opportunity, our batteries wear down pretty fast.
We go through our whole lives acting like everything’s fine, but you don’t have to look very far beneath the surface to see there’s more going on behind our brave faces.
Do you ever feel like the world judges us for the behaviors our wounds inspire, without considering the wounds themselves? Therapy exposes our wounds to the light so we can heal them and move on with a clean slate.
You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die, or when. But you do get to choose how you’re going to live, now.
My therapeutic technique is a holistic blend of my education in Transpersonal Psychology, Polyvagal Theory, Compassionate Inquiry, Inner Child Work, Narrative Therapy, Ancestral Healing, Shadow Work, and Post-Traumatic Growth. Tailored to each client’s needs and strengths.
My three year counsellor training program was intensive, experiential, and liberally sprinkled with creative therapeutic interventions. This approach helps to make therapy fun and memorable. I hope you’ll leave my office feeling inspired and energized.
I’m a former Yoga Instructor and Abortion Doula. My framework is Progressive, Intersectionally Feminist, Pro-Choice, Anti-Racist, Queer, Trans, Poly, and Sex Worker friendly.
I like to fill my office chalkboard with diagrams and lists of helpful information for you to take a picture with your phone before you leave. Maybe bring your journal if you like to write things down. Pocketful of new ideas, to go!
I might ask questions about your childhood and what your family or school years were like. Or we could do some goal setting and look at the obstacles standing between you and your dreams.
You tell me. What part of your life is asking for healing?
